MISSION 6:
Drone: Aid or Target?

Key Learning Points:

Distinction: Combatants must distinguish between active enemy forces and those hors de combat, who are no longer lawful targets.

Humanity: A wounded adversary who is incapable of further combat must be spared from attack and treated with respect.

Precaution in Attacks: If there is any doubt about a combatant’s status, additional steps must be taken to confirm whether engagement is lawful.
